The NAWIC National Conference 2024

Team member Krystyna Strength was at the 69th Annual National Association of Women in Construction Conference in Houston, TX, earlier this month.

This conference offered four days of learning through engaging orientation sessions, inspiring keynote speakers, intuitive workshops, invaluable networking, and personal growth. Krystyna was grateful to be able to represent not only Meridian Construction & Development but also NAWIC Spokane Chapter 143.

NAWIC Spokane Chapter brought home a couple of awards this year, including Member Strong and Let’s Build!

From job site tours and breakout sessions to an 80s-themed after-party, over 400 hard-working women in construction gathered from across the nation to share their insights on breaking into the construction world and the challenges they have faced along the way.
